Reconnecting Children, Community, and Culture Through Nature
Asibara Forest is a community-rooted urban food forest and outdoor classroom in Detroit helping families, homeschoolers, and youth reconnect with land, food, and ecological knowledge.
Many urban communities have been disconnected from land, food systems, and nature for generations. Asibara Forest exists to restore that connection through hands-on learning, cultural practices, and shared outdoor experiences.
